There have been a few different dogs that are either known for being the largest dogs or better yet, in the Guinness Book of World Records.
ZORBA -once the Pedigree Brand Ambassador still holds the record in the world for being the largest and longest dog ever to be recorded...There have been more then just Zorba that have made world records for being the largest or biggest dogs in the world. Zorba, however, still holds the record in the world for being the largest and longest dog ever to be recorded. He is presently not in the Guinness Book of World Records because he is deceased, but no one to this date has topped his size.
One dog in particular was Hercules, a massive three-year old English Mastiff that was put in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2001.




J. Flynn and his wife Wendy of Peabody, Massachusetts own Hercules. Flynn, not a small man himself, weighed 270 pounds and his dog still weighed more than him, tipping the scales at 282 pounds with a 38-inch neck. KNOW MORE












CHANEL, a dachshund and Guinness World Record holder for the Oldest Living Dog (aged 21 years) passed away on Friday, August 28th, 2009 from natural causes at her home in Port Jefferson Station, on Long Island.Known for her fondness of sweets and keen fashion sense, Chanel will always hold a place in record breaking canine history.
