THE LIFE SPAN OF ANIMALS

There is a saying that our Grandma and Grandpa lived longer and stronger - Have you ever analyzed whether there is any truth now in this statement. In fact we live longer than our ancestors; whether or not stronger . Longevity of human beings has remarkably increased due to advancement of Medical Technology. For example the Indian average age has been increased from 37 (1951) years to 65 years today.

One of the most frequently asked questions is how long are the animals of a given species expected to live. You would be surprised to note that the expected life span for a variety of animals is from one day to 200 years.

These are the life expectancies under optimal conditions. The actual life span depends on the environmental conditions & availability of right food. Our practical experiences show average of 60% of these indicated years.
