     AMAZING ANIMAL MOTHERS

They not only show mother’s love to their kids but also to the kids of their prey,  predators and, even sometimes to abandoned human kids...

Nature always seems to go beyond our reasoning and gives us some surprises.
The Maternal Instinct is an amazing thing!

Human mother is an indelible source of love and power. She is reborn in every child’s birth and bears pain beyond normal human tolerance. Pain is measured in terms of units called ‘del’ as we say ‘ml” for liquid and ‘decible’ for sound. A human body can bear only upto 45 Del of pain. But at the time of giving birth, a woman feels upto 57 Del of Pain. This is similar to many bones getting fractured at a time!
Sometimes, the way the ANIMAL MOTHERS behave it makes one to think that they are no way inferior to the human mothers in expressing love to their young ones. What is more surprising is that they not only show mother’s love to their kids but also to the kids of their prey, predators and, even sometime to abadoned human kids.
It makes me feel that mother's love transcends race barriers and even can be transferred to a different species.
We have read in the history about the Argentine Romulus and Remus the legendary founders of Rome that they were abandoned as babies and rescued by a wolf, nearly 3,000 years ago.

I found true stories of  abandoned human babies and  dogs who rescued them, what somebody years before imagined and could make a story about a collie "LASSIE", whose rescue reminiscent of the feats were shown  during1950s television.

"An eight-year-old dog has touched the hearts of Argentines by saving the life of an abandoned baby, placing him safely alongside her own new puppies."

You will be amazed to find the way the animals try to protect their young ones. I have come across such wonderful video clips in the net
BUT
The one that always fills my eyes with tears is about a Giraffe mother, the video was shot at Tanzanian jungle. She doesnot know but unfortunately gave birth to a baby with congenital defect. The baby’s hind limbs were defective and could not stand up. She trys all her best to make the young one to stand and move out , and spends around two days, day and night , without even taking food and water in protecting the baby from  predators.
You will be drowned into the ocean of her affection towards her baby by the way she trys to protect the little creature.
At last, although sad , she moves out of her baby on its death, but see the Animal Mother's eyes, expressions, You will be proud to be in the world of animals!

There has to be different treatment with human baby and a dog in the house. Both are lovely and cute but their needs are different. Even its important to train a dog for getting along with human baby. When we had our child 2 years back, we learnt all of that in tough way.
